This will be my last Garden of Weed'n update for the year. I have harvested the last of the squash, ripped the last of the plants out and put the garden to bed. Good night garden. You served us well this year. Thank you. Sleep tight. See you in the spring! (Yes, I talk to my garden. No, I'm not completely crazy.)
Now I shall enjoy the next couple of months off from garden work. After the holidays, I'll start planning next year's planting. I'm really looking forward to it this time as I plan on selling at the local farmer's market. Yay.....I'm so excited!
How about you? Are you done with your garden? Or do you live in a warmer climate and get the benefit of longer gardening time?
Chris just got ours cleaned out yesterday. Our kale is still producing beautifully and we are loving having fresh greens still. I hope it lasts long into the winter! Sadly, our squash failed miserably and I have one tiny little thing that isn't even worth cooking up. :( Not sure what went wrong, last year I had more than I knew what to do with.
