  1. I don't have a Master Menu List, but I probably should so I could be more efficient at planning. I try to add two new recipes every month to our "rotation". Sometimes the new recipes are a hit & sometimes they aren't, so they get scrapped. One week a month I roast a chicken & make leftovers from that. One week I also make homemade pasta sauce & we eat pasta & homemade pizza that week. That's about the extent of my consistencies!

  2. Good for you! :) I try to roast a chicken once a month, too. You are right, there are so many leftovers you can make from a roasted chicken.

  3. I love Monte Cristo sandwiches! Can you share your recipe? I've never made them myself.

  4. I've got a list divided into chicken, beef, dairy, side dishes, and other. It's a one-page chart posted on my fridge. I don't consult the list every time I make a menu, but it does help in a pinch or when I'm feeling uninspired. I think I'll be adding some of your ideas to my list!

  5. Good for you, Debbie! Someday I'll be that organized! Right now I'm just lucky to have them all listed on one page. :)

  7. Oh ya, nachos...yummm. We usually have them with taco leftovers. Tortilla chips covered with meat, beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, etc.
