When washing dishes or laundry, use just a little bit of detergent. There is really no need to fill up the dishwasher dispenser or dump tons of detergent into the washing machine. I only fill the dishwasher dispenser about 1/3 full and my dishes come out nice and clean. For the laundry, I only add about 1/4 of a cup of detergent for regularly soiled clothes.
I never heard that before!

Founds you through Friday Follow :) I actually make my own laundry detergent and am playing around with making my own dishwasher detergent too-just need to find citric acid and I'll be able to complete the recipe :) I have a $50 a week grocery budget for our family of five-making many of our HBA and cleaning helps me stay within that budget. Just became a follower of your blog-check mine out if you have a minute!
