Simple Shopping

Have you heard of Alice.com?

I found out about it recently and it's going to be a great thing for our family. Basically, it's an online store that helps you organize and order the products you need and use in your home. Most of the products on the website are cheaper than I have ever seen them in any stores around here. Plus, Alice.com finds coupons for you that you can use when ordering, making the products even cheaper.

And did I mention that Alice.com always has free shipping? Love it. It's so convenient to buy all of your household needs in the comfort of your own home.

Click here to start an account with them and get a $10 credit once you spend $50! What a deal!

  1. Alice is my not so secret mistress. I heart her. A lot. :)

Anyway, I know you make your own laundry soap, but have you tried making your own dishwasher soap? I've heard good things about this recipe, but haven't tried it yet. I'm actually waiting for Alice to bring me more Borax and then I'm going to try it. I thought I'd share the recipe with you. It's similar to the laundry soap.
    **************
    1 cup borax
    1 cup washing soda
    1/2 cup kosher salt
1/2 cup citric acid (Or 40 koolaid lemonade packets with less, dishes were cloudy)
    ***************

    * I also use white vinegar in my rinse bin in place of Jet Dry or other similar products. It works great.
